About

I started teaching myself to code in 2020, right before the pandemic. My first freelance project didn't go well, and it showed me exactly what I was missing. Writing code wasn't enough. I needed to understand design, and I needed to understand the people I was building for.

So I kept learning. I took computer science courses, joined a coding bootcamp, and then changed direction to finish my degree and dig into back-end development and cybersecurity. Along the way, I taught myself design, too. In August 2026, I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science, summa cum laude.

Now I'm starting something new: my own design and development studio. Here, I'll share all of it, the "look what I just made!" days and the "I am not feeling this today" days, the failures and the successes. I'm not guaranteed to succeed, but I'm committed to trying.
